Ponizszy list dostalem kilka dni temu z Wegier. Pewna ciekawostka w tym temacie:

Dear Tomek!
Just a short story. Today I visited my parents their country-home. My father 77 old and he was interesting about the cars from his young-time. He remembered well as he saw 6 cars in his grandfather yard where were two double garage for lorries and other barns. As he mentioned me there were five American cars only one he remember clear with large indenependent wing in which was a spare wheel. The sixth car was a Skoda cabriolet. All those cars belonged Polish military persons. My father lived in a village - Apátfalva - very close to the Hungarian-Romanian border. In the next village, Magyarcsanád, was a large frontier guard barrack. There were accomodate a Polish military troops. Some cars were housed at the farmer-house in the barns usually. After some time all the Polish troop went on to Romania with their cars. As he know only one was sold to a teacher named Csikota.
Unfortunatelly photo was not taken.
Very tipical, when my father completed his story, my mother who heard fromthe kitchen followed. She lived in a village East-North Hungary beetwen Kassa and Miskolc, in Tállya. When she was 8 year old she had a classmate a Polish girl in 1939-40. After some month one morning the Polish girl did not came to school, supposedly her parents escaped to Romania and she was taken with them.

I think a lot of Hungarian family had same stories.

Best regards

W lutowym numerze wegierksiego pisma Veteran Auto es Motor" (czyli juz za kilka dni) ukaze sie dlugi artykul na temat polskich pojazdow (samochodów i motocykli), ktore znalazly sie na wegrzech we wrzesniu/pazdizerniku 1939 r.

Moze zrobi to troche pozytywnego fermentu i pojawia sie jakies sensacyjne news'y - np. stodola pelne Polskich Fiatow" lub motocykl zamorowany w garazu".
Zobaczymy.
